Captain Hunter Boutwell is a native of South Alabama and has been fishing for as long as he can remember. It is a skill that he has spent most of his life perfecting and that quest for perfection continues to this day.  

Captain Hunter is a United States Coast Guard Licensed and insured captain.  Captain Hunter has been intimately involved in the sport & business of fishing his entire life. 
 From his family business, Boutwell Bamboo, that manufactures high quality bamboo fishing poles and bamboo gig handles; the same gig handles used on all of Lite the Nite's fishing trips, to his earliest childhood fishing trips with his grandfather, Hunter has spent a lifetime immersed in fishing.
 
 Hunter has always loved being on and near the water; whether it be looking for rays and flounder inshore or fishing the cobalt blue waters of the gulf of mexico for all it has to offer.


 

Captain Hunter’s goal is for whomever steps foot on his boat to have fun, see things new things, and find a new interest and
love for the coastal estuary system that he adores.
 
Hunter gives 100% of himself everyday at whatever he is does and he hopes to give you, your family, and your friends the best experience imaginable on the water. 
 
Captain Hunter is married and lives in Babbie, Alabama with his wife, Jessica, their daughter, Addalyn, and their dog, Buddy.
