Captain Josh Anderson is a United States Coast Guard licensed and insured captain who grew up fishing the panhandle of Florida. Capt. Josh is a 4th generation Florida panhandle fisherman and has been fishing our local waters with his father since he
was 3 years old. Capt. Josh's amazing passion for and knowledge of the water separates Lite the Nite from other charter operations. Josh is a native of Opp, Alabama and graduated from Troy University in 2008 with a Masters degree in Accounting. Josh spent a few years working for a local CPA firm before rejoining the family business started by his father. Although still heavily involved in the family business; Capt. Josh has decided to share his love and knowledge of the water with others via Lite the Nite Charter Service. |
Captain Josh's goal with Lite the Nite Charters is to
ensure that everyone who steps on board his boat has fun and leaves with a new admiration for the Gulf Coast's amazing coastal environment. Capt. Josh is best known for his upbeat demeanor and patience while on the water. This makes Lite the Nite the perfect choice whether you've never smelled saltwater or fish 300 days a year. Capt. Josh is married and still resides in Opp with his wife, Megan, their daughter, Hadlee, and Lite the Nite's official mascot, their Yorkie, "Cooper" |
